The District Level Youth Parliament under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ initiative was held at Namchi College on 21st
and 22nd March. Organized by the National Social Service Scheme, the event saw enthusiastic participation
from over 150 students across educational institutions in Namchi District.
Participants delivered speeches on the theme ‘One Nation, One Election’. A panel of esteemed judges
evaluated the speeches on multiple criteria, including content, clarity, and delivery. After thorough
deliberation, 10 outstanding speakers were selected to represent Namchi District at the state-level Youth
Parliament to be held in Gangtok in the coming months.
